According to Samrin, the camp was completely besieged after the IOF stormed the neighboring town of Anata and called for reinforcements to raid Shuafat.
The IOF accused Muhammad al-Zalbani of carrying out a stabbing operation that took place at the Shuafat Refugee Camp checkpoint last February, which led to the death of an occupation soldier who was shot and killed by friendly fire in a moment of confusion.
The IOF demolished al-Zalbani's house using heavy explosives.

Silat al-Dahr confronts the IOF
Meanwhile, the IOF attempted to storm Silat al-Dahr area, south of Jenin but was faced with heavy Resistance by the residents of the area.
Significantly, Silat al-Dahr holds strategic significance as it is located in the center of a region dubbed by British invaders, even prior to the Israeli occupation, as the Palestinian "triangle of terror," as it is located between Nablus (19km), Jenin (22km), and Tulkarm (17km) in the occupied West Bank.
Administratively belonging to Jenin, the IOF raided the area as local Resistance factions confronted them with explosive devices and gunfire.
