Confrontations in several parts of West Bank as IOF incursions persist

Al Mayadeen's sources reported that Israeli occupation forces have raided various areas of cities and camps in the occupied West Bank since the early hours of Thursday, confirming that Palestinian Resistance fighters confronted the incursions using gunfire and explosive devices.

Local media reported 12 injuries and the martyrdom of Palestinian youth Hazem al-Qattawi, from the town of Beitunia, after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces during confrontations that took place in Ramallah.

The sources confirmed that large forces of the Israeli occupation army stormed the cities of Ramallah and al-Bireh in the central West Bank, spreading across several neighborhoods. The occupation forces also raided the al-Manara Square area in central Ramallah, where Resistance fighters confronted them and engaged in armed confrontations.

Local Palestinian media circulated news and a video clip confirming the injury of an Israeli soldier during armed confrontations with Resistance fighters in the city of Ramallah.

Al Mayadeen's sources mentioned that a Palestinian youth was injured by Israeli occupation gunfire during the Israeli incursion into Ramallah, in addition to the injury of journalist Salman al-Khatib. The sources also confirmed that Israeli forces raided the al-Tireh neighborhood in the city.

In the northern West Bank, sirens sounded in the camp and city of Jenin, coinciding with a wide Israeli incursion into the city.

Al Mayadeen's sources confirmed intense and ongoing armed confrontations between the Resistance and Israeli occupation forces at the Jalbouni roundabout in Jenin, near the Cinema roundabout and the governmental hospital in the city.

Our sources pointed out that large parts of Jenin suffered power outages due to the Israeli targeting of one of the power transformers. Palestinian media also reported loud explosions in Jenin, coinciding with the Israeli forces launching illuminating flares.

In the same context, an Israeli drone targeted the eastern neighborhood of Jenin amid intensified drone flights over the city and its camp. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported three injuries in the drone strike, one of which is moderate and the other two are minor.

Al Mayadeen's sources also confirmed that Israeli forces deployed military reinforcements from the "Dotan" settlement southwest of Jenin toward the city.

In Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the towns of al-Baqa al-Sharqiya and Zeita and arrested Palestinian youth Adnan al-Dama from his home after storming it.

In response to the Israeli forces' incursion, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Rapid Response Groups claimed responsibility for targeting Israeli military vehicles in front of Thabet Thabet Governmental Hospital with gunfire, confirming that the targeting coincides with resistance on all axes against the Israeli forces.

On its part, the Al-Quds Brigades - Tulkarm Brigade confirmed that its fighters targeted an Israeli infantry force that infiltrated into the western neighborhood of the city of Tulkarm, achieving direct hits among the raiding forces.

Palestinian journalist Mohammad Samir told Al Mayadeen that Israeli forces brought reinforcements to the city of Tulkarm, supported by a military bulldozer, and seized a safe from one of the currency exchange shops.

In Qalqilya, west-central West Bank, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Azzun east of the city, with Palestinian sources confirming that Resistance fighters targeted the raiding forces with explosive devices.

Armed confrontations also erupted in the Ain al-Sultan camp in Areeha, east-central West Bank.

Israeli occupation forces were targeted by gunfire while raiding the old town of Nablus. Al Mayadeen's sources confirmed that Resistance fighters opened fire at the Israeli military post on Mount Gerizim in the city, coinciding with the Israeli forces' incursion into the village of Rujeib east of Nablus.

In the southern West Bank, Palestinian media reported that Resistance fighters engaged Israeli forces with intense gunfire during the storming of the town of Halhul in al-Khalil. Al Mayadeen's sources confirmed that Israeli forces are deploying military reinforcements toward the town, raiding four currency exchange shops.

Palestinian medical sources reported that seven youths were injured by Israeli occupation gunfire in Halhul. Another Palestinian youth was injured by live gunfire in the town of Bani Na'im east of al-Khalil.

In Beit Lahm, south of the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces raided al-Shawawra village east of the city and searched one of the houses there. Occupation forces also stormed the town of Silwan in occupied al-Quds.
