Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued their incursions and detention campaigns across several areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn on Wednesday.
In the Nablus region, three Palestinian citizens were detained, two from the village of Burqa, northwest of the city, and one from the village of Salem to the east. Two additional young men were detained in the city of Tubas.
A special unit from the Israeli Musta'ribeen forces stormed the Ain al-Ain refugee camp in Nablus and positioned themselves in the al-'Ayada neighborhood. The undercover unit was later reinforced by Israeli military units arriving from Hawara and Deir Sharaf checkpoints.
In Qalqilya Governorate, the IOF raided the town of Habla from the eastern entrance. The forces withdrew after a short time without making any arrests.
Separately, on Tuesday, Israeli assaults on the West Bank began right after midnight with an IOF incursion into Tubas, where troops besieged a house. Another incursion into Beit Lahm followed, where multiple citizens suffered tear gas suffocation.
Later at dawn, the IOF detained two brothers, Thaer and Mohammad Bassam Dawoud, after raiding and vandalizing their home in the city of Beit Lahm.
By mid-morning, in Ramallah and al-Bireh, seven Palestinians were detained, while a café was demolished in the village of Beit Sira. Later in the day, soldiers returned to demolish the home of Yahya al-Abbasiyya in the same village. Additionally, a Palestinian youth was injured after being shot during the raid, with no further details emerging about the condition of the youth.
