Cuba expresses solidarity with Al Mayadeen after Israeli ban over Gaza
The Cuban ambassador to Lebanon voices his country's support for Al Mayadeen, which was banned from broadcasting in Palestine, where it revealed the atrocities of the Israeli occupation entity.
Cuba's Ambassador to Lebanon, Jorge Leon Cruz, has expressed strong solidarity with the Al Mayadeen Media Network and its global mission of upholding truth.
His position comes in response to the Israeli ban of Al Mayadeen's broadcasts and websites within occupied Palestine, a measure taken in response to the network's coverage of the brutal aggression in Gaza.
According to a joint statement from Israeli Ministers of Security and Communications, Yoav Galant, and Shlomo Karhi, this decision, which was approved by the war cabinet, was based on the threats posed by the channel on the entity's "national security" amid the war on Gaza.
Cruz stated, "Once again, the American and Israeli regimes prove their fear of the defenders of truth and seek to silence them."

Following the Israeli order to shutdown the network's presence in occupied Palestine, Ghassan Ben Jeddou, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Mayadeen Media Network, issued a statement in response, affirming that "Al Mayadeen will never back down from its choices in supporting Palestine, its Resistance, and its people"
"Al Mayadeen will never back down from its choice to support the people of Palestine and their Resistance in the entirety of Palestine. Our physical absence from Occupied Palestine will not succeed in keeping us from supporting the righteous causes of the Palestinian and international masses yearning for freedom," Ben Jeddou added.
Various Arab, Islamic leaders, parties, and figures have expressed their solidarity with the Al Mayadeen Media Network, emphasizing that this decision is "the highest honor" that the channel can be decorated with.
