The Israeli occupation is determined to keep on massacring Palestinians, leaving them nowhere safe to go and nowhere to get treatment if they survive.

Israeli occupation forces committed six massacres against Palestinian families in Gaza in 24 hours, killing 75 Palestinians and injuring 284 others, Gaza's Ministry of Health said today.

Many victims remain under the rubble and on the streets as the IOF deliberately prevents ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.

This brings the total number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli occupation since October 7 to 36,171 and those injured to 81,420, the Ministry added.

It is believed that these numbers are nowhere near the true number of victims of "Israel's" genocidal war in Gaza, as Palestinian healthcare authorities face significant challenges in accurately tallying the number of martyrs wounded and individuals dying beneath the rubble.

'Israel' intentionally destroying the health sector in Rafah

The spokesperson for Gaza's Ministry of Health Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra said that the Israeli occupation deliberately destroyed the health sector in Rafah and the north of Gaza.

He added that the health sector has exceeded its maximum capacity in handling the Israeli massacres in Rafah and north of the Strip.

The Israeli occupation is tricking Palestinians into thinking that the al-Mawasi area is safe and then commits horrible massacres in that same area, al-Qudra stressed.

He urged the entry of field hospitals and urgent medical teams into Rafah and the north of Gaza alongside safe corridors for the immediate entry of fuel and medical aid.

The spokesperson also urged the halt of the constant Israeli threats to health institutions and medical teams.

All hospitals in Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip are out of service except for Tal al-Sultan Maternity Hospital as it struggles on its own to continue functioning and providing services to patients in Rafah Governorate, Gaza's Ministry of Health reported on May 28.

Six hospitals have gone out of service as a result of the continuation and expansion of the Israeli incursion into Rafah and its deliberate targeting of health facilities and institutions, causing severe damage and killing several crew members amid the difficulty of reaching these hospitals, which are as follows:

  • Abu Youssef al-Najjar Hospital
  • Abu al-Walid Central Clinic
  • The Rafah Field Hospital (2)
  • The Kuwait Specialized Hospital
  • The Indonesian Field Hospital
  • Tal al-Sultan Clinic

As part of the IOF's deliberate targeting of health institutions in Gaza, it bombed the Indonesian Field Hospital on Monday night and the vicinity of Tal al-Sultan Clinic, the Ministry said.

It further urged all UN and international organizations to protect all hospitals, medical staff, and ambulances from the brutality and arrogance of the Israeli occupation.

The PRCS confirmed that the evacuation took place due to the increased threat level from the Israeli occupation, amid continued indiscriminate artillery and air bombardments in its vicinity.

The humanitarian organization mourned a member of the Al-Quds Hospital staff, Issam Rouhi Mohammed Aqel, who was killed after his home was targeted last night in the al-Bureij refugee camp.

This brings the total number of martyrs among the PRCS's staff to 30, 17 of whom were killed while performing their humanitarian duty.
