Day 245: 36,731 killed, 83,530 injured in Gaza
The Israeli occupation forces committed eight massacres in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.
The number of Palestinians killed in Gaza due to the Israeli genocidal war has now reached 36,731, in addition to 83,530 injured, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced Friday in its daily report.
Additionally, it confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces committed eight massacres against four different families in the Gaza Strip, killing 77 Palestinians and injuring 221 in the past 24 hours.
The ministry stressed that thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets as the Israeli occupation forces continue to deliberately prevent ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to commit genocide in the Gaza Strip through non-stop air raids and artillery shellings.
On the 244th day of the genocide, fighter jets carried out a raid on the Nuseirat camp; Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that five individuals, including the mayor of Nuseirat, Iyad al-Maghari, were killed as a result of an Israeli occupation raid that targeted a municipal building in central Gaza.
The Government Information Office in Gaza announced the assassination of the mayor of the Nuseirat, affirming that this represents a "war crime aimed at exacerbating the humanitarian crisis."
The Information Office further held "the Israeli occupation and the US administration fully responsible for this heinous crime," adding that "We call on all free nations of the world to prosecute the Israeli occupation in international courts and forums for its heinous crimes."
