Day 291: 39,090 martyrs, 90,147 injured
Israeli occupation forces committed eight massacres in the past 24 hours, killing 84 and injuring 329 others.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced in its daily report on Tuesday that the number of Palestinians killed in the Strip due to the Israeli genocidal war has now reached 39,090, in addition to 90,147 injured.
Additionally, it confirmed that Israeli occupation forces committed eight massacres in the past 24 hours, killing 84 and injuring 329 others.
The ministry stressed that thousands of victims are still under the rubble, lining the streets as the occupation forces continue to prohibit ambulances and civil defense crews from reaching them.
In an earlier report, Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed that the occupation forces targeted a truck carrying internally displaced people in Bani Suhaila, located in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip, with an airstrike. The planes fired upon the town of al-Qarara, as well as the eastern and western fronts of the city.
Additionally, our correspondent reported that the Israeli bombing extended to include the areas of Sheikh Nasser, Khan Younis, al-Balad, and al-Qarara. This escalation coincided with increased confrontations between the Palestinian Resistance and the occupation forces in the region.
Our correspondent highlighted that the death toll in the Khan Younis massacre has exceeded 80, with over 70% of the victims being children and displaced individuals. The occupation forces escalated their bombing in the eastern regions on Monday, exacerbating the aggression. This onslaught coincided with the forced displacement of tens of thousands of Palestinians, creating dire humanitarian and medical conditions.
The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has persisted for 291 days, with occupation forces relentlessly bombing numerous areas, particularly in the southern region of the Strip, resulting in a mounting toll of Palestinian civilian casualties.
