Day 346 of Israeli genocide in Gaza: 41,226 killed, 95,413 injured
Israeli airstrikes, which have resulted in further civilian casualties amid an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli blockade, have concentrated on Rafah over the past day.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on the 346th day of the ongoing Israeli genocidal war on the Strip that the number of martyrs has risen to 41,226, with 95,413 others wounded.
In the past 48 hours, the Israeli occupation committed three massacres against families in Gaza, killing 20 Palestinians and injuring 76 others.
The Israeli genocide is ongoing
Israeli occupation forces continued their genocidal campaign in the Gaza Strip for the 346th consecutive day, conducting numerous airstrikes and artillery bombardments that have resulted in further civilian casualties amid an increasingly dire humanitarian crisis caused by the Israeli blockade.
In the southern Gaza Strip, Rafah has been heavily targeted. Israeli artillery pounded the northern and western districts of the city, while flares were used to light up the area. Israeli forces also advanced into the Shakush area west of Rafah’s Mawasi region, opening fire on displacement camps.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces demolished residential buildings in the Saudi neighborhood, west of Rafah, and carried out artillery strikes on central and eastern parts of the city.
The bombardment resulted in the killing of at least two people and injuries to others when a home belonging to the Abu Shaar family in northern Rafah was struck, according to Gaza's Civil Defense.
The Israeli assault extended to central Gaza, where "Israel" committed a massacre near the Qassam Cemetery in the Nuseirat refugee camp. This attack claimed the lives of 10 individuals and injured 15 others, some critically.
Northwestern Nuseirat also saw heavy artillery fire, and Israeli airstrikes targeted the northeastern Bureij camp, demolishing residential buildings.
In al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeastern Gaza City, Israeli aircraft bombed a home belonging to the Bessal family, resulting in at least five fatalities and multiple injuries.
Simultaneously, Israeli forces demolished residential buildings in al-Zaytoun and intensified their gunfire in the southwestern part of Gaza City.
Famine imminent in northern Gaza as siege forces bakeries to close
Palestinians have warned of an impending famine in the northern Gaza Strip, where a continued Israeli siege has caused five of six functional bakeries to close, according to Anadolu news agency.
Kamel Ajjour, a baker owner, told Anadolu on Sunday that five out of six bakeries in the area have closed due to "Israel's" blocking of fuel and raw materials.
"Our bakery is the only one still functioning in the area and is likely to close within a week if Israel continues to block the entry of fuel and essential supplies," Ajjour said.
He noted that fuel had not been delivered to bakeries in northern Gaza for more than ten days and that critical ingredients like flour, sugar, and yeast had been "significantly reduced for nearly a month,” warning of a worse crisis if his bakery is also forced to close.
Last week, UN expert Michael Fakhri accused "Israel" of conducting a "starvation campaign" against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, warning that the entity is weaponizing humanitarian aid to inflict harm on residents of the besieged area.
In a report presented to the UN General Assembly, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food Michael Fakhri stated that since the Israeli military aggression against Gaza began in early October of the previous year, the flow of food, medicine, and other humanitarian supplies has been severely restricted.
"By December, Palestinians in Gaza made up 80 percent of the people in the world experiencing famine or catastrophic hunger," Fakhri stressed.
He further noted, "Never in post-war history had a population been made to go hungry so quickly and so completely as was the case for the 2.3 million Palestinians living in Gaza."
