Day 168: IOF commits new massacres, over 32,000 Palestinians martyred
The Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed 9 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 82 deaths and 110 injuries during the past 24 hours.
The death toll of the Israeli war on Gaza has now surpassed 32,070 martyrs with 74,298 injuries according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The Ministry reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed 9 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, including 82 deaths and 110 injuries during the past 24 hours.
It is noteworthy that there are still numerous victims under the rubble and ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
The IOF continues to besiege Al-Shifa Medical Complex for the fifth day in a row after raiding it in the early morning hours of March 18.
The IOF continuously and heavily bombed the vicinity of the complex as plumes of smoke emerged from Al-Shifa and the homes surrounding it.
On the northern side of the complex, the IOF blew up several houses and burned them.
The ministry stated that the IOF is holding around 240 patients, their families, and 10 medical professionals inside the al-Shifa Medical Complex.
Meanwhile, the United Nations relief official emphasized that "Israel must lift all obstacles to humanitarian aid," emphasizing the need for a humanitarian ceasefire.

IOF cuts off ventilators in Al-Shifa
On March 20, the IOF cut off ventilators in Al-Shifa Medical Complex and opened random fire on everyone in its courtyard, including people who were only slightly visible to the IOF through the buildings' windows.
On the same day, twenty-seven Palestinians were martyred in an Israeli airstrike on a house in the al-Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Additionally, 23 Palestinians were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that bombarded a gathering of popular committees responsible for securing the transportation of aid at Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.
Furthermore, several Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the al-Sidra area in the al-Daraj neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, coinciding with artillery shelling in other areas in the city and its north.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli aircraft bombarded a residential building in an area northwest of Gaza City, while Israeli artillery targeted the western areas of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Professor Nick Maynard, the former director for cancer services at Oxford University who worked at the Al-Aqsa Hospital in central Gaza, revealed that the IOF was committing "appalling atrocities", citing a "systematic targeting" of healthcare facilities and staff.
Maynard reported that not only were the IOF targeting medical buildings, but they were also destroying their infrastructure and equipment like CT scanners and oxygen tanks.
"If it was just targeting Hamas militants, why are they deliberately destroying the infrastructure of these institutions?" he questioned.
Urgency for a ceasefire
Dr. Zaher Sahloul, head of the medical organization MedGlobal and a guest of Senator Dick Durbin during the President's State of the Union speech earlier this month, said that public backlash has led Democratic legislators to be more open to discussing Israeli behavior.
A Chicago physician, Thaer Ahmad, who volunteered at Nasser Hospital's emergency department in January, believes the damage to the healthcare system makes a truce even more vital.
Ahmad explained that the effort was intended to communicate a sense of urgency to those who are capable of "impactful decisions".
The physicians stated that with most hospitals closed or overburdened, tens of thousands of Palestinians with severe wounds are not receiving proper treatment beyond initial emergency care, and many of them would die or be permanently disabled.
