US Army Chief urges congressional action for arms supply to "Israel" and Ukraine
The US Army stated, on Monday, that it would require congressional approval for additional funding to ensure the Pentagon's munitions production and procurement strategies can effectively address the requirements of both "Israel" and Ukraine.
Christine Wormuth, the Secretary of the Army, made these remarks during a time when the US House of Representatives is experiencing a virtual standstill due to the Republicans' efforts to select a new speaker.
"One thing that is really important in terms of the munitions in particular and our ability to support both potentially the Israelis and the Ukrainians simultaneously is additional funding from Congress to be able to increase our capacity, in terms of our capacity to expand production and then to also pay for the munitions themselves," Wormuth told reporters at an Army event.
Wormuth explained that the Army is currently in the initial phases of evaluating Israeli requests for support. This evaluation includes an assessment of whether offering such aid would have any impact on the readiness of the US military.
"But I would argue, that just as we lean forward with Ukraine, I think the intent is to lean forward in support of Israel," she said.

Israeli commentators fear multi-front war
Israeli commentators are raising concerns about the possibility of a multi-front war, amid the ongoing Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
"We are heading into a long battle in Gaza... and at any moment, we might find ourselves in a multi-front war," Alon Ben David, the military affairs analyst at Israeli Channel 13, said.
He emphasized the magnitude of the unfolding events, saying that this is not an operation, but a long ongoing battle that will take a long time, asserting that it would last for more than two weeks.
Ben David said that currently, "Israel" "is focused on the north, in reference to the northern front facing Lebanon and Syria.
In the same context, Channel 12 reported that the northern front might witness escalating events, saying that this is deeply concerning to the IOF.
