The leader of the revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, declared on Wednesday that the US is a "definite accomplice" in the atrocities that the Israeli entity is committing against innocent Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

During a meeting with representatives of the Martyrs Commemoration Congress in Lorestan Province, Sayyed Khamenei said the US was indirectly managing the atrocities carried out in Gaza.

"In these crimes, America's hands are up to the arm in the blood of the oppressed, the children, and the patients," he said.

The Iranian leader drew attention to the leaders of "cruel" and "evil" Western powers' hurried excursions to the occupied lands, saying their purpose was to save the Israeli entity from destruction.

"If the hazard of annihilation was not threatening the occupying regime, these world villains would not have felt that they needed to express solidarity (with Israeli regime) one after another," he said.

As per Sayyed Khamenei, this demonstrates how powerful and decisive Hamas' blow was.

"Since it was not able to and will not be able to defeat the (resistance) fighters, the battered, wounded and worn-out Zionist regime, which they are keeping alive by bombs and weapons, is taking its revenge on the defenseless people of Palestine," he noted.

After the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by the Palestinian Resistance, the Israeli entity started a bloody aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7. According to Al Mayadeen's correspondent, the number of Palestinians martyred by the aggression exceeded 6,000, with around 20,000 wounded, amid catastrophic health conditions.

'Homeland defenders are not terrorists'

Sayyed Khamenei also cautioned Muslim governments against adopting the US and certain other Western nations' practice of designating the "defenders of the homeland" as 'terrorists".

He forewarned Muslim governments and political spokespeople to exercise caution when quoting Western governments' statements and to believe that Palestine will undoubtedly prevail in this and future operations.

"Is a person who defends his home and country against the enemy a terrorist? The terrorist is that fake and cruel government that occupied his house," he asserted.

He concluded that Palestine, not the Israeli entity, will be in control of the future world and that the Palestinians will triumph despite "Israel's" atrocities and crimes.
