Israeli occupation forces fired gas canisters and live bullets at the Palestinian demonstrators during confrontations, on Friday, at the separation fence in the eastern Gaza Strip as Palestinians continue their protests in support of the Palestinian prisoners and al-Aqsa mosque, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the confrontations have so far resulted in the injury of at least 31 Palestinians who had been denouncing settler incursions into the Holy al-Aqsa Mosque.

Local Palestinian sources reported that two citizens were injured as a result of Israeli air and artillery bombardments that targeted several Resistance sites in the Malka area, east of Gaza.

The IOF artillery also bombed another Resistance site east of Khan Yunis.

The Palestinian media also reported that the IOF targeted a third Resistance watch tour site, located between Juhr al-Dik and Khay al-Zaytoun, east of Gaza, with an artillery shell.

On his part, an IOF spokesperson announced that “army forces are now bombing targets in the Gaza Strip," adding that “the army carried out attacks using attack drones equipped with precision missiles, and Hamas positions near the separation fence were targeted.”

Palestinian youth shot by IOF in Jenin, martyred

Israeli occupation forces fatally shot a Palestinian youth in Jenin at dawn today, and several others were wounded with cases of tear gas suffocation reported last night in Nablus, in the northern part of the occupied West Bank.

According to a Palestinian medical source, Abdullah Abu Hassan, a Palestinian youth from al-Yamoun town in western Jenin, succumbed to injuries sustained when occupation forces opened fire during a raid into the town of Kafr Dan.

Separately, during the Israeli occupation forces' incursion into Nablus, seven civilians were injured and 130 suffered from exposure to tear gas. Special forces from the occupation army entered the Rafidiya neighborhood in the city, surrounding a residential building amid intense gunfire.

Additional reinforcements were sent from the western side of the city as attacks were reported near the besieged house, and the occupation forces targeted the building with around four Energa shells.
