Palestinian seriously injured during eastern Gaza confrontations
Hundreds of Palestinian youths taking part in demonstrations near the Israeli-erected separation fence set rubber tires on fire, east of Jabalia, Gaza City, Khan Yunis, and Rafah.
Palestinian media reported that a 19-year-old Palestinian was seriously injured by Israeli gunfire, as others suffered from suffocation after the occupation forces suppressed youths protesting near the Israeli-erected separation fence in the eastern Gaza Strip against the violations against al-Aqsa Mosque and in support of the prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.
According to the state-run Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli occupation forces fired live bullets and tear gas canisters at dozens of Palestinian youths demonstrating for the eighth day in a row.

WAFA cited a paramedic at the Palestinian Red Crescent as saying that the occupation forces heavily fired tear gas canisters on paramedics, medical staff, and journalists.
On Wednesday, Palestinian sources reported that Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas bombs at youths in the Malka area, which led to several injuries among demonstrators.
During the demonstrations, Palestinian youths launched explosive balloons from Khan Yunis toward the Gaza Envelope illegal Israeli settlements.
This comes a couple of days after 25-year-old Youssef Radwan was martyred and 11 others were injured by Israeli gunfire after occupation forces attempted to suppress the demonstrations in the Gaza Strip.
On Sunday, the Israelis deployed their heavily armed forces, vehicles, and sniper units along the separation fence to disperse demonstrations.
Israeli media reported that the Israeli occupation's security and military establishment is preparing for the possibility of escalation and the resumption of rocket firing from the Gaza Strip.
