The Egyptian Prime Minister has emphasized that Egypt, in coordination with the Palestinian Authority, has developed a comprehensive vision for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, a process in which he affirmed Egypt's central and leading role.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly confirmed that a comprehensive Egyptian vision for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip has been established and subsequently approved by Arab, Islamic, and several major nations.
Madbouly highlighted Egypt's central role in developing this plan alongside the Palestinian Authority as a general framework for the efforts.
During a press conference following the weekly government meeting, Madbouly noted that with the Gaza agreement now signed, the general framework is being developed into a detailed plan with specific timelines and financial flows.
He confirmed Egypt's participation in this process, stating that a key component of this detailed plan will be one of the most important outcomes of the upcoming reconstruction conference.
Madbouly added, "Given our extensive expertise and major companies, Egypt will be one of the most important participants in the reconstruction process, by virtue of being the immediate neighbor to the Gaza Strip."

The signing ceremony took place in Sharm El-Sheikh, where Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani joined Trump in endorsing the agreement.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced that negotiations on the foundations for Gaza's reconstruction will begin shortly, stressing that the peace agreement's implementation must result in a Palestinian state and reaffirming the "two-state solution" as the only path to realizing the hopes of both Palestinians and Israelis.
On October 13, the office of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced that a conference on the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip will be held in Cairo in November 2025.
