Hamas will not send delegation to Cairo at the moment: Source
A source from the Palestinian Resistance has told Al Mayadeen that Hamas will wait for the results of Israeli delegation talks with mediators to plan its next move.
A Hamas delegation will not travel to Cairo at the moment, a source from the Palestinian Resistance told Al Mayadeen on Sunday.
"Hamas' delegation is awaiting the results and outputs of the meetings between mediators and the Israeli delegation," the source told Al Mayadeen.
Earlier, an official from the Islamic Resistance Movement - Hamas told Agence France-Presse that Hamas had not made a decision on whether to send a delegation to a new round of mediated talks.
"There is no indication or decision yet within Hamas regarding sending a Hamas delegation to a new round of negotiations in Cairo or Doha," the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told AFP.
The official voiced pessimism regarding the talks, saying that he doubts that there be any progress in these negotiations, adding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "is not serious and not interested."
This has been echoed by multiple Palestinian Resistance officials since talks began, after "Israel" launched its war on Gaza. In fact, Hamas has reiterated on multiple occasions its readiness to reach comprehensive deals via mediated talks, saying that it has practiced flexibility in several rounds of talks, however, it has stuck to its main principles.
These are a comprehensive long-lasting and internationally guaranteed ceasefire, the return of all forcibly displaced Palestinians to their homes in the Gaza Strip, a clear process for the complete withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from the Gaza Strip, and the rebuilding of civilian and governmental infrastructure destroyed by "Israel" in the duration of the aggression.
On the other hand, the Israeli side has been disregarding a clear discussion of the aforementioned clauses, which has stalled negotiations.

Abdel Hadi: 'Israel' has no intention to reach a deal
Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ahmad Abdel Hadi, told Al Mayadeen in an interview on Saturday evening that the indirect negotiations between the Palestinian Resistance and "Israel" clearly showed that the occupation entity has no intention to reach any deal.
Touching on negotiations over a prisoner exchange deal, the Hamas official pointed out that the Resistance has shown tangible flexibility but has not received guarantees from the Israeli occupation regarding the cessation of hostilities. He stressed that the Resistance will not conclude any deal without these guarantees.
Abdel Hadi reiterated that the decision to end the war on Gaza rests in the hands of Washington, which sponsors the wars of extermination and starvation against the Palestinian people.
