Exclusive: Axis of Resistance will abort a NATO in West Asia
In an exclusive interview for Al Mayadeen, Jamil Mizhir affirms that Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine, alongside the resistance in Iraq and Yemen, led by Iran, will not allow the establishment of new equations in the region.
Jamil Mizhir, Deputy Chief of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, told Al Mayadeen that the meeting with the Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, was productive and crucial, stressing that all regional threats and challenges were addressed.
"Nasrallah and I talked about various nations' attempts to create a Middle Eastern NATO led by Israel for the sake of defending it. We emphasized that these attempts will fall short thanks to the expanding capabilities of the Axis of Resistance," he said.

On the issue of resources - specifically the Karish field, the top Palestinian figure noted that the "demarcation of borders with Lebanon should take place with the Palestinian Authority, not with the Israeli enemy," stressing that "the Israeli occupation must give in to the fact that the oil and gas belong to the Lebanese and Palestinians."
In this context, he reiterated Lebanon's right to preserve its resource by all means possible.
Mizhir affirmed that Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine, alongside the resistance in Iraq and Yemen, spearheaded by Iran, will not allow the establishment of any new equations in the region that allow the Israeli enemy to steal the region's resources and wealth.
He confirmed that a multifront battle, in which all the Axis will take part, is inevitable, with one goal in sight; the liberation of Palestine.

Mizhir predicted that one day, the Axis of Resistance will be engaged in a significant confrontation with the Israeli enemy and its allies.
"On this day, victory will be on the side of the Axis of Resistance," he stressed.
On the prospects for strategic realignment with Syria, the top Palestinian figure said, "Damascus is at the heart of the Axis of Resistance and at the forefront of the confrontation with the Israeli enemy," adding that he met with Hamas leaders who are determined to restore relations with Syria, which the PLFP encourages, according to Mizhir.
