The Government Media Office in Gaza has accused Israeli forces of spreading a misleading narrative by publishing the names and photographs of individuals who are still alive and claiming they were killed in Gaza yesterday.

The list included the names of people who were killed in locations and at times completely different from what was announced, which the office stated clearly demonstrates that publishing this list was part of a deliberate media disinformation campaign aimed at justifying the occupation's crimes and demonizing the victims.

List debunked

In its statement, it debunked "Israel's" published list of "6 names, including 21 photos, claiming they were individuals killed during its latest brutal 24-hour aggression." The Office said that investigations "revealed that four of the listed individuals were neither killed nor present in targeted areas and are still alive."

"Some names were duplicated with slight alterations to make them appear as different people. The list also included names of people who were killed at completely different times and locations, proving that its publication was part of a deliberate disinformation campaign meant to justify the occupation’s crimes and demonize its victims," it added.

The Government Media Office, while condemning in the strongest terms the systematic criminal practices that combine media disinformation with collective killings on the ground, held the Israeli occupation and the nations complicit in the crime of genocide fully responsible for the continuation of the bloody assault on the Gaza Strip.

'Israel' breaks truce, kills Palestinians, reinstates truce, then goes on to bomb Gaza

The Office further reported that in just 12 hours, from Tuesday evening until Wednesday morning, "Israel" killed 109 Palestinians, including 52 children, 23 women, four elderly people, and seven persons with disabilities, which is proof, it said, that mass killing has become a deliberate policy rather than isolated incidents.

On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation deliberately violated the ceasefire and launched assaults across all areas of the Gaza Strip, then announced a return to the truce this morning.

Despite the reinstated declaration, it proceeded to bomb areas in the Strip, most recently in the north.

The Office's statement called on US President Donald Trump, the Gaza ceasefire agreement's guarantors, mediators, and the UN Security Council to "uphold their legal and moral responsibilities by forcing the Israeli occupation to abide by the signed ceasefire agreement, immediately end the war on Gaza, ensure the protection of civilians, and stop the ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people."

'Israel' massacres Palestinians in nightly rampage

In Gaza City, Israeli warplanes targeted a residential home in the al-Sabra neighborhood, leading to the killing of four Palestinians, including a child and an infant, and injuring nine others in the same strike, while in an attack near the Yarmouk area, three more Palestinians, including a child, were killed.

In Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, three Palestinians were killed and others were wounded after an Israeli airstrike hit a school sheltering displaced Palestinians, while in a separate attack, a strike on a tent in the Nuseirat camp killed one Palestinian and injured several others.

Local sources confirmed that 18 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in a massacre carried out by Israeli forces after they bombed a home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, with several people still believed to be trapped under the rubble.

In the al-Bureij refugee camp, also in central Gaza, Israeli warplanes struck a residential building, killing a young girl and injuring others. Separately, in Deir al-Balah, Israeli warplanes bombed a tent housing displaced families in the Insan camp, east of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, killing five Palestinians, including children.

In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, aircraft and drones attacked displacement tents in the al-Mawasi area, resulting in multiple injuries, while another airstrike on a house in the al-Amal neighborhood killed a man and a child.

Five more Palestinians were killed in a separate strike that targeted a vehicle on a public street in the city.
