The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Monday that eight bodies of martyrs were recovered and 13 people were injured over the past 48 hours, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement.
In its statistical report, the Ministry said that a number of martyrs remain under the rubble and on the streets, as civil defense and ambulance teams are still unable to reach them due to the continued Israeli attacks and destruction in several areas of the Strip.
Toll of the Israeli war on Gaza
The Ministry confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli genocide on Gaza has now risen to 68,527 martyrs and 170,395 injuries since October 7, 2023.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, Israeli attacks have killed 93 Palestinians and wounded 337 others, while rescue crews have recovered 472 bodies from the ruins.
In addition, the Ministry reported that 195 bodies were handed over by the Israeli occupation, with 72 identified so far.

Ongoing Israeli violations
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza said that two Palestinians were martyred earlier today after an Israeli drone strike targeted citizens in Abasan al-Kabira, east of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israeli artillery also bombed areas south of Khan Younis and Rafah, while Israeli tanks opened heavy fire east of Deir al-Balah in the central part of the Strip.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire, which came into force on October 11, carrying out attacks that have killed and injured dozens of Palestinians across Gaza in recent days.
