Families of Israeli captives in Gaza protest against Netanyahu
Israeli protesters hang banners in front of Netanyahu's residence reading "Resign now".
Israeli media reported today, that thousands of Israelis took to the streets of "Tel Aviv" and other Israeli settlements to protest the delay in the issue of Israeli captives in the Gaza Strip.
The Ynet website reported that the protesters hung a large banner in front of Netanyahu's residence, on which they wrote: "Resign now" and "How did you not know anything?" in reference to Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
The protesters also raised pictures of the captives in Gaza, demanding their release.
The families of the Israeli captives are taking measures to pressure the government and its president to implement a prisoner exchange deal and to avoid endangering their lives in light of the Israeli bombardment of the Gaza Strip and the ongoing ground invasion.
The settlers have directed many criticisms at Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding his resignation and calling him a "failure".
A few days ago, thousands of families of Israeli prisoners gathered in "Tel Aviv" and various parts of "Israel", raising the slogan "shame, shame," and demanding the release of the prisoners in the Gaza Strip.

Yesterday, Israeli news broadcaster Channel 13 reported, quoting Israeli officials, that no agreements have been reached yet regarding a potential prisoner exchange, noting that negotiations are ongoing.
The officials confirmed to the broadcaster that "Israel" is interested in a comprehensive deal and is "prepared to pay the price."
Amid the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the delay in finalizing an exchange deal, the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, announced the killing of an IOF female soldier and the injury of another soldier due to Israeli bombardment.
Previously, Abu Obeida announced that the Israeli regime refused to negotiate a prisoner deal swap and had thwarted the release of 12 Israeli captives.
Additionally, Reuters reported that a meeting between Qatari mediators and Hamas officials discussed possible outlines for a deal between the Palestinian resistance and the Israeli occupation. The agency stated that another meeting brought together the head of the Israeli Mossad, the US intelligence director, and the Qatari Prime Minister following the Qatari mediators' meeting with Hamas. However, the agency confirmed that the "results of these talks are unclear."
