Five Israeli settlers presumed dead in Israeli strike, Abu Obeida says
The Resistance in the Gaza Strip reports that several Israelis are presumed dead after they lost contact with the group of fighters taking care of them in light of indiscriminate Israeli bombardment.
The military wing of the Hamas Resistance movement, the al-Qassam Brigades, announced having lost contact with a group of Resistance fighters guarding five Israeli settlers as a result of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip
Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson Abu Obeida said the five Israeli captives were presumed dead due to the indiscriminate Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Resistance published the names and photos of three of the settlers who are presumed dead at the hands of their own forces.
The Israeli captives include Chaim Peri, 79, Yoram Metzger, 80, and Amiram Cooper, 84.
The photos of the settlers were released in a poster that has the words "time is running out" in Arabic, Hebrew, and English.

The three Israeli settlers had appeared in a video published by the Resistance earlier in the week wherein they had been asking the Israeli regime and their families not to abandon them. "Don't let us grow old here," they said.
Peri, who identified himself as being from Kibbutz "Nir Oz" and stated, "We are the generation that built Israel, and we participated in building the army. I don't understand why we are abandoned here."
He continued, "We don't want to die as a result of Israeli airstrikes," and demanded their unconditional release, ending his message with, "Don't let us grow old here." The other two captives echoed the same plea in the video.

Upwards of 60 Israeli captives have been killed since the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip commenced, some by airstrikes while others were killed by the gunfire of Israeli special forces.
This comes as the families of Israeli captives held by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza escalate their protests and demanding a government initiative to secure their release, Israeli newspaper Maariv reported on Monday.
The newspaper cited a sibling of one of the captives as saying that the families will protest outside the Security Ministry throughout the week and wait for the ministers.
"I know they will try to avoid us through various means so they don't have to look into our eyes because they feel responsible and guilty."
Meanwhile, Yedioth Ahronoth reported that the captives' relatives set up tents on Saturday at the main entrance to the Ministry and announced that they would focus all their protest activities there until the cabinet presents a plan for bringing back the captives held by the Resistance in Gaza.
Last week, the protesters sent a message to the Israeli occupation government, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding action on a new prisoner exchange deal with the Resistance.
In their statement, they said, "With every critical minute, the lives of our prisoners are in real danger, and we only receive them one after the other as corpses... We only receive dead bodies, not responses, only dead prisoners."
