People in Florida are issuing calls for Rep Michelle Salzman to be censured after calling for the collective murder of Palestinians.
Florida state Republican lawmaker, Michelle Salzman, has called for all Palestinians to die, saying so during a debate in the state legislature regarding a ceasefire in Gaza.
Supporting a resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza, Democratic Florida state representative Angie Nixon asked: "We are at 10,000 dead Palestinians. How many will be enough?"
"All of them," Salzman called in reply. Nixon then replied, "One of my colleagues just said, ‘All of them.’ Wow."
Nixon's resolution at the Florida State House was rejected by 104-2 votes.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the US acknowledges Israeli efforts to reduce civilian casualties but deems them insufficient, according to the Associated Press.
He mentioned that the US has put forward additional suggestions to "Israel", which include extending "humanitarian pauses" and increasing the flow of assistance into Gaza.
The US diplomat expressed concern, stating that "far too many Palestinians have lost their lives, and far too many have endured suffering in recent weeks." He emphasized the necessity of taking every conceivable measure to prevent harm to Palestinians and to enhance the support they require.

Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces have hinted toward "months of war" in reference to the possibility of extending the ground invasion in the Gaza Strip, as they remain incapable of achieving a decisive military victory on the ground.
The newspaper added that the United States has sent multiple signals, noting that "Israel" would only have "weeks" in the Strip despite the fact that Hamas remains "far from being defeated."
