When asked if Turkey will agree to remove its soldiers from northern Syria during the discussions, Cavusoglu stated that such a move might be undertaken as a final step if Syria has achieved total stability.
The military ministers and intelligence chiefs of Turkey, Russia, and the Syrian government met in Moscow in December and decided to continue tripartite discussions to ensure stability in Syria and the wider region.
Iran was also invited to participate in the negotiations, with Turkey previously adding that Ankara would be "pleased if Iran is involved in this process."
2,061 people evacuated by Turkey
Regarding the ongoing violence in Sudan, Cavusoglu stated that Turkey has evacuated at least 2,061 people from the country, including 1,763 Turkish nationals, over the course of several weeks of fighting between the army and a paramilitary group.
He claimed a military jet would be used to evacuate Turkish medical workers from Sudan, and that Turkey's embassy in Khartoum would be temporarily relocated to Port Sudan, from where evacuations would take place.
When asked about the unveiling of the "Nemesis Monument" in Yerevan, Armenia, Cavusoglu stated that Turkey has restricted its airspace to flights from Armenia to other nations.
"If they continue (to insist with the monument), additional steps will be taken," he added.

The Russian, Syrian, and Turkish defense ministers held talks in the Russian capital, Moscow, earlier in December 2022 where they discussed means of resolving the Syrian crisis.
