Israeli attacks on South Lebanon leave four citizens injured
The Israeli occupation forces raid the towns of Chihine, al-Mjadel, and Nabatieh el-Fawqa on Tuesday, causing the injuries of four civilians.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday that a number of Lebanese civilians were injured in the Israeli aggression that targeted two towns in South Lebanon.
An Israeli raid on the southern town of al-Mjadel resulted in the injury of three citizens, two of whom were treated for minor injuries on the spot, while the third was transferred to the Lebanese-Italian Hospital for treatment.
Another citizen was transferred to Jabal Amel Hospital after sustaining injuries from an Israeli airstrike on the village of Chihine.
An Israeli drone also targeted the outskirts of the town of Nabatieh el-Fawqa, however, the missile that it launched did not detonate. The raid targeted an open area between the Dabsha and Ali al-Taher sites, which the occupation used before its withdrawal from Lebanon on May 25, 2000.
During the early hours of Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire with heavy machine guns on the town of Aita al-Shaab, causing extensive property damage. Israeli warplanes, reconnaissance aircraft, and drones continued to swarm overnight over the villages of the western and central sectors across Tyre and Bint Jbeil.
Throughout the night, the Israeli occupation forces fired flares over the border villages adjacent to the Blue Line, accompanied by artillery shelling that hit the outskirts of the border towns of Dhayra, Ramyeh, and Aita al-Shaab.
On Monday, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that, in a failed assassination attempt, an Israeli drone struck a vehicle in Saida with no casualties recorded.
