The Palestinian health ministry reported on Wednesday that four Palestinians lost their lives after getting attacked by armed Israeli settlers in the town of Qusra, located in the southern part of the occupied West Bank, near Nablus.

In separate incidents, the ministry confirmed that a Palestinian man was fatally shot by the IOF near Bethlehem, and a teenager lost their life near Al-Khalil.

These recent casualties have raised the Palestinian death toll in the West Bank to 29 in violence linked to the ongoing conflict, initiated when Hamas militants launched an operation on its envelope region from the blockaded Gaza Strip on Saturday.

Israeli NGO B'Tselem posted a video on social media showing what they identified as an "incursion of the Israeli military and Israeli settlers" into Qusra.

The IOF, in response to the situation, stated that their soldiers operating near Qusra reported hearing gunshots in the area and indicated they were investigating reports of Palestinian casualties.

B'Tselem stated on X that "since Saturday, settlers have been attacking Palestinian residents in many parts of the West Bank".

The group added that thousands have been left dead on sides, noting that "settlers are utilizing the fact that public attention is focused elsewhere to... add fuel to the fire of violence."

The Palestinian health ministry reported that it was informed by the Palestinian Authority's civil affairs authority about the death of an unidentified individual in the southern West Bank near Bethlehem.

The statement did not initially provide further details regarding the circumstances of this person's death, but the ministry later confirmed the death of a 16-year-old named Munes Ziyadan in the village of Bani Naim, near Al-Khalil, as a result of gunfire by the IOF.
