Gaza hospitals report 72 new deaths in 24 hours amid relentless Israeli airstrikes, famine, and aid-related attacks.

Gaza hospitals reported that 28 Palestinians have been martyred as a result of the Israeli aggression since dawn on Thursday, while the Nasser Medical Complex announced the martyrdom of two citizens who were waiting for aid by Israeli gunfire in the city of Rafah, south of the enclave.

Meanwhile, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes destroyed the al-Mashharawi tower in Gaza City's al-Nasr neighborhood following a missile strike.

The correspondent reported that Israeli airstrikes destroyed three homes in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

In a separate incident, a child was killed after Israeli forces opened fire indiscriminately toward civilians' homes in the al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Additionally, one person was killed and others were wounded when a group of civilians was struck by shelling at the al-Shujaiyya intersection, east of Gaza City.

Gaza death toll inches toward 65,000

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health announced that 72 Palestinians killed and 356 others wounded arrived at hospitals in 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, as of September 11, 2025, to 64,718, in addition to 163,859 injured. Since March 18, 2025, as of now, 12,170 Palestinians have been killed and 51,818 others have been injured.

The Gaza Health Ministry also reported that seven more people, including a child, have died from starvation and malnutrition in 24 hours, raising the total number of starvation-related fatalities to 411, of whom 142 are children.

The Ministry also pointed out that since the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) declared a famine in Gaza, 133 hunger-related deaths have been recorded, including 27 children. 

According to hospital reports cited by the Gaza Health Ministry, nine people were killed and 87 others were wounded in aid-related incidents over 24 hours, bringing the total number of fatalities at aid distribution sites to 2,465 killed, in addition to 17,948 injuries.
