The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Friday that four more people, including two children, have died from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours.
The latest fatalities bring the total number of famine-related deaths to 201, among them 98 children, as the Israeli blockade and restrictions on humanitarian aid deliveries to the territory continue.

The announcement coincides with a Euractiv report citing a European Commission document that reveals "Israel" allowed far fewer aid trucks into Gaza than promised under a July agreement with the European Union. The deal stipulated around 160 trucks dail, 800 over five days from July 31 to August 4, yet UN data show only 188 trucks were offloaded during that period. An EU official described this as "four times fewer" than agreed.
Israeli authorities dispute the UN figures, claiming 737 trucks entered, a count that includes commercial shipments and Gaza Humanitarian Foundation consignments, raising questions about what qualifies as humanitarian aid.
Palestinian officials have condemned "Israel’s" policy as a calculated campaign of collective punishment, accusing it of intentionally targeting civilians and aid workers while using starvation as a weapon of war to break the will of the besieged population in Gaza.

Continuous Israeli Bombardment
Meanwhile, the situation in Gaza remains dire as Israeli bombardment continues to claim lives. Medical sources at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat reported that two civilians were killed and two others injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a group of people in the "Block 7" area of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent said that five Palestinians were also killed and several others wounded in an Israeli strike on aid security personnel near the "Kisofim" area, east of Deir al-Balah. The attack was described as a further violation of efforts to ensure the delivery of food to the besieged population.
In northern Gaza, one Palestinian was killed in a strike on the Jabalia al-Balad area. According to field reports, several civilians were also injured when air-dropped aid packages fell on homes and tents in the Strip.

Earlier in the day, Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat confirmed the martyrdom of three Palestinians, including a child, and the injury of 12 others in an Israeli strike on civilians gathered near an "aid distribution point" on Salah al-Din Street, south of Wadi Gaza.
In Khan Younis, southern Gaza, two more Palestinians were killed in a strike on the town of Bani Suhaila.
