Gaza hospitals have reported 118 martyrs and 581 injuries in the past 24 hours due to ongoing Israeli aggression, as emergency and civil defense teams face difficulties in reaching countless victims still trapped beneath the rubble or lying in the streets due to relentless bombardment.
Twelve Palestinians seeking humanitarian aid were gunned down, while 49 others sustained injuries at the so-called aid distribution sites, raising the cumulative death toll from aid massacres to 652 martyrs and over 4,537 injured.
This brings the total number of Palestinians martyred since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, to 57,130, with 135,173 people injured. Since March 18, 2025, alone, Gaza has recorded 6,572 martyrs and 23,132 injuries, reflecting the intensification of Israeli attacks in recent months.
Meanwhile, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to endanger the lives of Palestinians across the Strip. According to the head of the Pediatric Department at Al-Rantisi Hospital, Dr. Sharif Matar, Palestinian children in Gaza are dying from hunger and malnutrition, and families are bringing their children to the hospital due to the lack of milk.
Speaking to Al Mayadeen about the dire state of the health system in Gaza amid the ongoing genocide, Dr. Matar emphasized the lack of any means to combat or contain the spread of epidemics. He announced recording numerous cases of meningitis, amid a collapsed health sector and healthcare systems, the contamination of water networks, and a lack of fuel.
The Gaza pediatrician told Al Mayadeen that the health conditions in Gaza are worsening, describing them as "catastrophic and far more miserable than anyone can imagine," lamenting how “apparently, no one in the world cares anymore.”
