The new Iranian president thanked the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, asking for his support for the national unity government to overcome concerns and problems.

Pezeshkain also affirmed that the support and satisfaction of the Iranian people are fundamental criteria for bearing responsibility in the country.

"Today, by endorsing the presidential decree, the Leader has officially made me obliged to carry out a great responsibility toward the entire nation of Iran," Pezeshkian indicated.

Sayyed Khamenei also noted that Pezeshkian and his government will work with the people and leverage their energy to achieve the expressed goals.

He indicated that the people have elected a worthy president with a deep vision, wishing Pezeshkian and his government all the success.

The Iranian Leader advised the upcoming government to address all national issues, including social and cultural matters, prioritizing the economy and working toward improving the Iranian nation's livelihood in a short period.

He urged Iranian officials to pay attention to self-capacities and competencies without neglecting the benefit of foreign potential.

"In the face of global and regional waves and events, the country's response should be active and effective, not passive," he said.

Touching on Iran's foreign policy, Sayyed Khamenei affirmed that one of the country's priorities in the field of foreign policy is its neighbors.

"We have priorities in foreign policy, one of which is neighboring countries. For every event in the region and the world, we should have a clear stance that we present frankly."

"We have about 14 neighbors around us. Communication with countries that can expand our diplomatic field, such as Asian and African countries, is very important," he stressed.

He added that "communication with the countries that cooperated with us and supported us is important and this is our priority policy."

The Leader pointed out that Iran does not harbor hostility toward European countries but noted that these states' policies toward Iran have not been favorable on several issues.

However, he mentioned that Iran can prioritize interaction with these countries if they abandon such a behavior.

Power of Resistance evergrowing

Regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, Sayyed Khamenei highlighted that the issue of Gaza has become a global one, describing the Israeli regime as "a gang of criminals, murderers, and terrorists."

The Iranian Leader underlined that the power of the Resistance is evergrowing, adding that the Israeli occupation entity has not been able to break the Resistance or bring it to its knees.

"The #Gaza cause has become a global matter, and the Zionist entity is nothing more than a criminal gang of killers and terrorists."
