The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported 20 martyrs and 125 injuries in the last 24 hours due to the continued bombardment of the besieged Strip by Israeli forces.
The preliminary toll from dawn until now has reached at least 70 martyrs and dozens of injuries, a result of targeted attacks and massacres by occupation forces against civilian areas in Gaza.
As the massacres continued, our correspondent later confirmed that more than 90 people have been killed by Israeli shelling of various areas in the Gaza Strip since dawn on Wednesday.
He reported that the death toll from the Israeli shelling of the al-Shujaiya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City since the morning hours has risen to five. The Israeli occupation also launched shelling targeting the Police Training Directorate west of the city.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued abrupt evacuation orders for the residents of the al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza City, calling on them to leave immediately.
In the past hours, Israeli artillery targeted the southeast of the al-Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, according to our correspondent.
In addition to the mounting casualties, victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, unreachable by ambulance and civil defense crews. The ongoing airstrikes have made it increasingly difficult for emergency responders to assist those in need.
Since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, Gaza’s death toll has tragically reached 52,928 martyrs, with 119,846 wounded. The toll since March 18, 2025, alone has reached 2,799 martyrs and 7,805 injuries.
The international community has expressed increasing concern over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza. Calls for an immediate ceasefire and greater access for humanitarian aid to reach the Strip have intensified. However, the ongoing violence continues to impede efforts to provide relief and assist those trapped in the region.
IOF massacre at Gaza Hospital
In a new escalation of its ongoing war on Gaza, the Israeli occupation military committed a massacre at the Gaza European Hospital on Tuesday evening, targeting the facility and its surroundings in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, with a series of intensive airstrikes.
Al Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that the Israeli airstrikes struck multiple sections of the hospital, including the entrance to the emergency room, the courtyard between the maintenance and anthropology departments, and areas adjacent to two shelter centers: Ehsan al-Agha and Jenin.
The attack caused extensive destruction and resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries, with bodies still trapped under the rubble.

Hamas: Urgent, effective action needed to stop genocide
Hamas has confirmed that the Israeli occupation continues to block the Gaza Strip from access to all basic necessities, including food, medicine, water, and fuel, for over 70 consecutive days, alongside escalating aggression. This, according to the movement, constitutes a clear and systematic act of genocide carried out by the Israeli army as the world watches.
In a statement, Hamas said that “the occupation is using starvation as a weapon against more than 2.25 million people, blatantly defying the will of the international community and the United Nations and its agencies, which have repeatedly called for the crossings to be opened and humanitarian aid to be allowed in.”
The movement emphasized that the international silence and the glaring inability to stop the war crimes and widespread famine are a stark reflection of the failure of the international system and its dangerous retreat from its commitments to uphold international and humanitarian law.
Hamas noted that the Palestinian people are being killed daily, either by bombardment or starvation, while UN institutions issue "hollow condemnations that do nothing to deter this entity devoid of all moral and humanitarian values."
The movement called on the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the United Nations to take “urgent and effective action to stop this brutal genocide and collective starvation and to pursue and hold accountable the Zionist war criminals for their crimes.”
