On the 123rd day of the war, the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip continues its operations in the advancing axes, engaging in fierce confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces, especially in Gaza City and Khan Younis amid ongoing Israeli attempts to consolidate military positions and advance further toward new locations.

Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, confirmed that its snipers successfully targeted an Israeli officer and a soldier in al-Jamiat area, west of Gaza City.

Also in Gaza City, al-Qassam Brigades targeted two Israeli military vehicles with al-Yassin 105 shells in al-Jawazat area, west of the city, as well as an Israeli command center with mortars shells, west of Tal al-Hawa, south of the city.

In a joint operation, Resistance fighters from al-Qassam and al-Mujahideen brigades targeted an Israeli Apache helicopter with a Sam 7 missile, west of Gaza City.

In battles in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, al-Qassam fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank with an al-Yassin 105 shell in Hawawz area. In the same area, they successfully targeted Israeli soldiers hiding inside a house with a TBG anti-fortification shell, inflicting casualties among them.

Al-Qassam fighters also targeted an Israeli D9 bulldozer with a Shawaz explosively formed penetrator (EFP) in al-Bahr Street, west of Khan Younis. Additionally, they hit a Merkava tank with an al-Yassin 105 shell, west of the city.

Al-Qassam Brigades published a video of an Israeli drone its Resistance fighters captured during a reconnaissance mission in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.

Deputy commander of the Combat Engineering Corps' 601st Battalion killed

Earlier on Tuesday, the Israeli occupation military confirmed that one of its officers was killed during the ongoing battles with the Palestinian Resistance in northern Gaza.

According to the Israeli military, the killed officer was Major David Shakuri, 30, the deputy commander of the Combat Engineering Corps' 601st Battalion.

With the recent announcement, the number of Israeli occupation troops killed since the start of the war now stands at 563, including 226 in the ground invasion that "Israel" launched into the Gaza Strip on October 27.

Seeking to conceal the extent of its losses, the Israeli occupation military is imposing strict censorship on the accurate figures of its casualties during the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip, but footage published by the military media of the Palestinian Resistance factions indicates that the losses incurred are much greater than officially declared.
