Gaza's health system has reached 'point of no return': ICRC

According to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the health system has reached a "point of no return," with medical facilities and health workers reaching a breaking point.
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) reported that its staff had observed "horrendous images that have now gotten worse due to sharpened hostilities" while distributing vital supplies to medical facilities throughout Gaza in recent days.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Friday an increase in the number of martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli aggression in the Gaza Strip to 11,078, with a total of 4,506 children included.
It added in a statement that this was negatively impacting ambulances and hospitals, as well as negatively affecting patients, citizens, and medical personnel.
"Overstretched, running on thin supplies and increasingly unsafe, the healthcare system in Gaza has reached a point of no return."

The ICRC emphasized that even hospitals have been targeted, as the IOF's tanks are currently besieging Al-Nasr Children's Hospital, Al-Rantisi for Cancer and Children, Al-Ayoun, and the hospital for mental and psychological disorders.
"Any military operation around hospitals must consider the presence of civilians, who are protected under international humanitarian law," ICRC stated.
"The rules of war are clear. Hospitals are specially protected facilities under international humanitarian law."
Additionally, a correspondent for Al-Mayadeen in Gaza reported a complete power outage at the Indonesian Hospital in the northern part of the Strip.
