On Thursday, marking the 300th day of the ongoing genocide, Israeli forces committed a new massacre by targeting the Martyr Dalia Maghreb school in Shujaiyya, east of Gaza City.

The attack resulted in the martyrdom of 15 people and injuries to 29 others, with 8 people reported in critical condition.

In the aftermath of the aggression, the Gaza Government Media Office warned that the death toll may continue to rise and condemned Israeli forces for targeting civilian displacement centers, including schools that house tens of thousands of displaced persons.

Gaza authorities noted that this attack contradicts "Israel's" claims of safe zones and points to the deliberate nature of the violence, aimed at maximizing casualties amid continued US support for the aggressions.

They further drew attention to the dire humanitarian crisis which has been fueled by the destruction of the health system and hospitals as a result of Israeli aggressions.

The Office called on the international community and the UN to take action against the ongoing genocide, holding both the Israeli occupation and the US responsible for systematic massacres.

Hamas has likewise issued a statement condemning the massacre as part of a broader pattern of atrocities committed by Israeli forces during its ongoing aggression on Gaza.

Statistical updates

Earlier today, the Gaza Government Media Office released a new report detailing the severe impact of the Israeli regime's actions over the past 300 days of war.

According to the report, Israeli forces have committed a total of 3,457 massacres, resulting in 49,480 deaths and disappearances, including 10,000 missing under the rubble of destroyed buildings. The remains of 39,480 martyrs have been received by hospitals, with 16,314 children and 10,980 women among the victims, accounting for 69% of the casualties.

The report also mentions the loss of 885 medical personnel, 79 civil defense members, 165 journalists and media professionals, and over 100 academics and researchers who were killed during this period.

The Israeli blockade has caused a severe humanitarian crisis by preventing over 25,000 injured and ill individuals from traveling for treatment, while the health system has been targeted and nearly 34 hospitals have been rendered non-operational.

The report also notes more than 1,800,000 cases of disease due to war conditions, overcrowding in hospitals, and the destruction of over 700 water wells.

Moreover, the regime has destroyed more than 150,000 residential units completely and over 100,000 partially, leading to economic losses exceeding $33 billion for the Gaza Strip.
