This is coupled with ground invasion attempts by Israeli forces, prompting fierce confrontations with Palestinian resistance fighters.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent confirmed on Sunday that the occupation targeted the Shuja'iyya and al-Tuffah neighborhoods east of Gaza City, as well as the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood to the south. Additionally, the occupation targeted the eastern neighborhoods in the central region of the Strip.

'War of extermination'

Additionally, the occupation forces arrested a significant number of women, including elderly women.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent described what the occupation has been committing in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood for days as a real war of extermination with tanks and planes.

During the ongoing Israeli aggression spanning approximately nine months, the death toll has tragically risen to 37,834 martyrs, with 86,858 wounded since October 7th, according to the data released by the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Saturday.
It's important to note that this statistic includes victims who were registered after arriving at hospitals. However, several victims remain trapped under rubble or on roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are hindered from reaching them due to ongoing bombings and obstacles created by occupation forces targeting rescue operations.
