Hamas calls for realization of OIC statement, end of aggression
The OIC statement calls for the immediate cessation of the occupation's aggression on Gaza and the opening of humanitarian corridors to transfer urgent aid to the Palestinians in the Strip.
Hamas praised the statement sponsored by the Executive Council of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation after its session in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The resolution had called for the immediate cessation of the occupation's aggression on Gaza and the opening of humanitarian corridors to transfer urgent aid to the Palestinians in the Strip.
In a statement, Hamas called for realizing the statement in actuality to stop the aggression and the genocide that the occupation is perpetrating against Palestinians, to stop all attempts at normalization with the occupation and its integration into the region, and to support the Palestinian people's national right of defending their lands and sanctities.
Yesterday, an extraordinary session of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation convened in Jeddah to address the military aggression waged by the IOF against Gaza and the dangers that civilians in Gaza are subjected to.

Earlier today, the chief of staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, warned that if the Israeli aggression on Gaza persists, it might prompt the involvement of other parties in the situation.
The remarks came during a phone conversation with Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Qatari Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammed al-Attiyah in the wake of ongoing Israeli crimes against the oppressed people of Gaza.
General Bagheri urgently appealed to the international community to take swift measures to halt Israeli transgressions and deliver assistance to the Gaza population. "We are deeply concerned about the continuation of vast and brutal crimes against civilians; Such barbaric behavior will not be tolerated and independent governments must react seriously to it," he said.
