Israeli media outlets touched on the current state of the war on Gaza, as indirect negotiations between the Palestinian Resistance and the Israeli occupation are taking place "under fire," warning that "Israel" is misjudging the situation when expecting that Hamas would relent.
The anchor of Israeli Channel 12 expressed confusion regarding the departure of the Israeli Mossad team from Qatar's Doha, confirming that the indirect negotiations to reach a ceasefire between the Israeli occupation and Hamas have collapsed.

Meanwhile, the channel's political affairs commentator, Dana Weiss, responded to the anchor's remarks on the negotiations, stressing that they did not collapse but rather paused, pointing out that it was clear they could continue for a maximum of ten days.
Weiss noted that on the night of the release of the last batch of Israeli captives, it became evident that "the end of batches" was apparent, and it was clear that Hamas was not prepared to continue releasing all captives, revealing that a significant dispute arose over this matter, and "Israel" considered it a "red line".
She also pointed out that there was a belief in "Israel" that Hamas would soften its position within 10 days, emphasizing that this did not happen. On that note, the commentator said that if there are any ongoing negotiations, they are taking place "under fire".

It is worth mentioning that Israeli media reported, citing an Israeli political source, that "Israel" is prepared for additional temporary ceasefires, meaning an extension to the original truce, and to engage in negotiations regarding prisoner exchanges. As per the Israeli report, the source stated that "the ball is in Hamas' court."
The Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, after the expiry of the temporary truce that lasted for about a week following three extensions.
No prisoner exchange deal amid continued aggression on Gaza
In a related context, a member of the Hamas movement political bureau, who is the head of the detainees, wounded, and martyrs files in the party, Zaher Jabarin, told Al Mayadeen on Saturday that there will be no prisoner exchange deal as long as the Israeli aggression on Gaza continues.
According to Jabarin, efforts to reach a new agreement have not been halted. He also revealed that the movement had acquired information that indicated that the Israeli occupation would renew its aggression on the Gaza Strip following the exchange of non-military Israeli captives for Palestinian prisoners and detainees in Israeli prisons.
Jabarin said the movement will work to achieve the "sovereign demands" of its people, adding that Hamas is currently battling for the liberation of Palestinians.
