Hamas, PIJ confirm depth of relationship, pledge to pursue resistance
The two Resistance factions discussed regional developments, the Palestinian cause, the occupation's attempts to derail the Resistance, as well as Operation Unity of the Battlefields.
The Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) Ziad Al-Nakhala hosted a meeting with a high-ranking Hamas delegation led by the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau Saleh Al-Arouri.
The participants discussed regional developments, the Palestinian cause, the occupation's attempts to derail the Resistance, as well as Operation Unity of the Battlefields.
They also recalled the greatness of the martyrs, hailing the unity of the Palestinian Resistance and the sacrifices of the prisoners in their ongoing battle with the occupation.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two Resistance movements stressed that “Al-Quds will remain an eternal capital of Palestine, the core of the struggle [with "Israel"], and a title for the unity of the Palestinian people everywhere."
Both Hamas and Islamic Jihad leaders reiterated that their relationship is solid and strategic and is growing to serve the Resistance project.
The two Palestinian Resistance factions emphasized that any tactical disagreement here or there won’t affect the core of their relationship.
The participants praised fruitful meetings held in order to solidify their relationships for the sake of the Palestinian people and the Resistance and urged unity among the supporters of the Resistance movements, assuring their unity in all locations and situations within the framework of the joint Operations room.
They declared their support for Palestinian prisoners, calling on all Palestinians to launch a solidarity campaign with the prisoners.
Furthermore, they expressed gratitude to everyone who supports the Palestinian Resistance, particularly the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hezbollah, as well as all forces who believe in the justice of the Palestinian cause and support the choice of resistance.
In the same context, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement affirmed, on Thursday, that the Resistance forces under all titles and slogans are united in the face of the Israeli enemy.
In his speech during a festival, Al-Nakhala greeted the martyrs who unite the Palestinian people and lead the way to occupied Al-Quds, indicating that "martyrs remind us that the enemy still rules our lives," while many other countries only care about the Israeli occupation's interests.
