Sources to Al Mayadeen: Occupation ships feared bombing Gaza
Sources to Al Mayadeen revealed that during Operation Unity of Battlefields, no Israeli warship participated in the fighting nor approached the shores of Gaza.
Sources told Al Mayadeen revealed on Sunday, that no Israeli warship participated in the fighting nor approached the shores of Gaza during the Operation Unity of Battlefields.
The sources added that data revealed that "Israel", during the last round, was afraid of Al-Quds Brigades possessing surface-to-sea missiles.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement (PIJ) sources refused to confirm or deny that they possessed this type of weaponry. The sources added that the PIJ certainly possesses a weapon that breaks the previously established status quo.
Previously on Saturdya, the Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement (PIJ) Ziad Al-Nakhala hosted a meeting with a high-ranking Hamas delegation led by the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau Saleh Al-Arouri.
The participants discussed regional developments, the Palestinian cause, the occupation's attempts to derail the Resistance, as well as Operation Unity of the Battlefields.
They also recalled the greatness of the martyrs, hailing the unity of the Palestinian Resistance and the sacrifices of the prisoners in their ongoing battle with the occupation.
During the meeting, the leaders of the two Resistance movements stressed that “Al-Quds will remain an eternal capital of Palestine, the core of the struggle [with "Israel"], and a title for the unity of the Palestinian people everywhere."
This comes after the Israeli occupation began on August 5 an aggression on the Gaza Strip, and Al-Quds Brigades announced that Taiseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip, had been martyred.
In response, Al-Quds Brigades launched an operation by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
It is worth noting that at least five people, most of them children, were martyred and 10 were injured as a result of an Israeli shelling that targeted Jabalia Camp, bringing the number of martyrs since the beginning of the Israeli aggression to 31, including six children, and the number of wounded reached 253.
