Delegations from Hamas, the PIJ, and the Gaza government have reportedly left the strip heading to Cairo where they will meet Egyptian officials, local media and different sources reported.

It was also noted that delegations from the two resistance movements will fly from Doha and Beirut to Cairo to meet up with their compatriots.

According to the sources, this visit aims to hold dialogues with officials of Egyptian intelligence to discuss prospects of a sustained ceasefire in the Strip as well as bilateral issues. The government delegation from Gaza will discuss economic concerns with the Egyptian side.

The Islamic Jihad's media office revealed that a delegation from the movement, including members of the political bureau and a number of leaders, left for Cairo on Thursday afternoon, without providing additional details.
