Hamas, PIJ envoys to meet Egyptian officials in Cairo
Local sources report that delegations from the two resistance will fly from Doha and Beirut to meet with their compatriots in Cairo.
Delegations from Hamas, the PIJ, and the Gaza government have reportedly left the strip heading to Cairo where they will meet Egyptian officials, local media and different sources reported.
It was also noted that delegations from the two resistance movements will fly from Doha and Beirut to Cairo to meet up with their compatriots.
According to the sources, this visit aims to hold dialogues with officials of Egyptian intelligence to discuss prospects of a sustained ceasefire in the Strip as well as bilateral issues. The government delegation from Gaza will discuss economic concerns with the Egyptian side.
The Islamic Jihad's media office revealed that a delegation from the movement, including members of the political bureau and a number of leaders, left for Cairo on Thursday afternoon, without providing additional details.

Back in early may, the IOF launched an extensive bombing campaign against the Gaza Strip targeting PIJ leaders and their families.
Ali Hassan Ghali, a member of the group's military council and the head of the brigades' missile unit, Jihad Ghannam, the chief of the southern command of the Al-Quds Brigades, the Islamic Jihad spokesperson Tarek Ezzedine, and Khalil Al-Bahtini commander of the northern region were some of the leaders martyred during the IOF's brutal campaign against the Gaza strip.
