Israeli warplanes launched, at Sunday dawn airstrikes on several sites in the Gaza Strip. Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in Gaza reported that the Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on the Qadisiyah site - a resistance site west of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli warplanes also raided agricultural fields in the eastern districts of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip, before renewed air raids struck east of Khan Yunis, as per our correspondent.
In response, the Palestinian Resistance announced that its air defenses confronted the hostile Israeli air force in the skies of the Gaza Strip with anti-aircraft fire and surface-to-air missiles.
Simultaneously, warning sirens sounded in the settlements surrounding the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation claimed that the airstrikes “targeted a rocket manufacturing center, and a tunnel”.

Israeli media claimed late Saturday that a rocket was launched late Saturday from the Gaza Strip toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
The rocket, according to the media, landed in a desolate area, with no injuries reported from the Israeli side.
The Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper said a rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip for the first time in a month and for the second time since the end of the latest round of aggression on Gaza.
The Palestinian resistance in August started responding to the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip by launching salvoes of rockets toward the occupied Palestinian territories.
Al-Quds Brigades, PIJ's military wing, announced the martyrdom of Taiseer Al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip.
Shortly thereafter, all of the Palestinian resistance factions issued statements condemning the Israeli occupation's aggression and its assassination of resistance figures and leaders, as well as solidifying the resistance's unity against the Israeli aggressors.
Al-Quds Brigades, the PIJ's military wing, started responding to aggression waged by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza strip, which has martyred over a dozen Palestinians and injured dozens of others.
"The rocket fell in an open area near the borders of the Gaza Strip, not far from (the settlement of) Nahal Oz," northwest of Al-Naqab desert, noting that the rocket launch from Gaza comes about three days after the assassination of Jenin Brigade commander Muhammad Ayman al-Saadi.
