Hamas: Occupation Prisoners Will not See Light of Day if our Prisoners Don't
The head of Hamas's Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, says that the Movement has four captive occupation soldiers that will never see the light of day if Hamas's prisoners are not released.
The Chairman of Hamas' Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, asserted that the issue of prisoners in occupation prisons is at the top of Hamas and the Resistance's priorities.
During a speech commemorating a session on prisoners, martyrs, and the wounded on the third day of the 12th conference on al-Quds entitled "The Vanguards of al-Quds hold its Sword" in Istanbul, Hanieh said that Hamas' sacrifices only confirm the truth of its path and its righteousness.
He also revealed that Hamas holds has four captive Israeli soldiers, held by its military wing the al-Qassam Brigades, and asserted that these prisoners "will never see the light of day unless our prisoners are released."
Haniyeh pointed out that Hamas performed its first operation to capture occupation soldiers a mere one year after the Movement was established, adding that it has sacrificed its leaders, who will never be forgotten, with Fadi Abu Shkheidem being the last to stand in defense of the al-Aqsa Mosque.
