Haniyeh: Al-Quds Is the Center of the Conflict with the Enemy
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas, said all attempts to undermine the resistance and the Palestinian cause failed in the face of Seif Al-Quds (Sword of Jerusalem Battle).
Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh said the battle of Seif Al-Quds (Sword of Jerusalem) constituted an important turning point in the course of the struggle against 'Israel.'
Haniyeh, on the sidelines of a scholarly conference, noted that Seif Al-Quds Battle brought everyone to an unprecedented stage in the history of the struggle against the occupation. "The battle proved that Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) is the center of the conflict with the enemy," he added.
According to the leader, Al-Quds (occupied Jerusalem) and the resistance are the paths to unity. He said it was evident how united the Palestinian people were on the resistance and occupied Jerusalem. The Palestinian cause is that of the Ummah, not a people, he stressed.
Haniyeh clarified that all attempts to demonize the resistance and undermine the Arab and Islamic world's stance on Palestine, along with all the billions spent on these projects failed in the face of Seif Al-Quds.
He stated that neither normalization nor security cooperation with the occupation are an option for the people. They do not express the nation's conscience.
Finally, the leader said resistance is a strategic recourse for the liberation of Palestine. There will be no negotiations, compromise, nor agreements with the occupation. He stressed that normalization has led to nothing but settlement projects, annexation, Judaization, the killing of the heart and soul of the resistance in the West Bank, giving up the right to return, and security cooperation with the Israeli occupation.
