PIJ rebukes US aid to ‘Israel’, says Biden admin running Gaza genocide
The new US aid package to “Israel” is worth $26.3 billion amid the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement strongly condemned the decision made by the US Congress to provide tens of billions of dollars to the Israeli occupation entity, along with huge quantities of lethal weapons and ammunition, to continue the genocidal war and war crimes against the Palestinian people in the steadfast Gaza Strip.
The movement also strongly denounced the US administration’s claims of being informed of the occupation entity’s plans to storm the city of Rafah, considering this "an attempt to mislead public opinion and provide a cover-up for the entity from the crimes its army and mobs are preparing to carry out against innocent people, children, and women.”
In a statement, the movement held the administration of US President Joe Biden fully responsible for "the Nazi-Zionist crimes throughout Palestine, and in the Gaza Strip, whether the crimes already committed or are about to be committed.”
It stressed that the US administration’s funding of the entity and providing it with all kinds of financial, logistical, and political support proves that the Biden administration is the one “managing the genocidal war against our Palestinian people.”
In conclusion, the movement pledged to the Palestinian people and the nation to “move forward in the face of the Zionist-American aggression.”
Yesterday, US President Joe Biden just signed a $95 billion bill of foreign aid to Ukraine, "Israel", and Taiwan on a day that he called a “good day for world peace," following the Senate's passing of the measure in a 79-18 vote on Tuesday night.
After signing the bill, in his speech, Biden said, “It’s going to make America safer. It’s going to make the world safer,” adding, “It was a difficult path... It should have been easier and it should have gotten there sooner. But in the end, we did what America always does. We rose to the moment, came together, and we got it done.”
The bill includes $60.8 billion for Ukraine, $26.3 billion for "Israel" and controversially for humanitarian relief for civilians, and $8.1 billion for the Indo-Pacific region against China.
In a statement, Hamas condemned "in the strongest terms" the bill to provide $26.4 billion in military and security funds to the Israeli occupation entity.
The Resistance movement considered this step as a "confirmation of American official complicity and partnership in the genocide war being waged by the fascist occupation army on the Gaza Strip."
Hamas also held the US administration responsible, and President Joe Biden personally, for the political, legal, and moral accountability for the Israeli war crimes, pointing out that "the American support is a license and a green light for the extremist Zionist government to continue its brutal aggression, blatant violation of international laws, and all humanitarian norms."
