Haniyeh: The war on Gaza may turn into a regional conflict
The head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, confirms that "the continuation of aggression on Gaza and the desecration of the blood of its people will explode all equations, on the Palestinian and regional levels."
The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, confirmed that “the Palestinian resistance is still controlling the pace of the battle, despite the brutality and crimes of the occupier.”
In a televised speech, Haniyeh said that the resistance is aware of the efforts of American and European officials to support "Israel", noting that the United States has failed to get its way in the Arab and Muslim world and that it will not be able to force the displacement of the people of Gaza.
He said that the goal of "Israel" and its supporters is to displace the Palestinian people from their land. He adds that the Palestinian people will not allow that and will continue to resist until they achieve their right to self-determination.
Haniyeh stressed that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza will have serious consequences, threatening a possible breakdown of the current situation, both in Palestine and in the region. Furthermore, he said that the conflict in Gaza could escalate into a regional war that "Israel" and its supporters will not be able to control.
He highlighted the need to bring forward the occupation leaders to international courts to "be held accountable for the crimes they committed," stressing that "Hamas and the resistance movement have more humanity and morals than the occupation, which practices premeditated killing."

The head of the Hamas political bureau indicated that, over the past few days, he had received a number of calls and several meetings, stressing that the only solution was an end to the Israeli occupation.
Two days ago, Haniyeh said that the massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation in Al-Maamadani Hospital reflects the criminality and brutality of the enemy.
He voiced his hope that the massacre carried out by the Israeli occupation, whose victims could be in the ballpark of a thousand according to media reports, would be a turning point and make for a "tempest that would be added to Al-Aqsa Flood."
Haniyeh held the United States responsible for the crime, saying it gave the Israeli occupation the green light to do whatever it wished for in Gaza.
"The Israeli enemy would be delusional to think that these massacres would cover up its resounding loss against our people or push them to surrender," he said. "The Resistance is ongoing, and it will not stop until the occupier leaves our land and sanctities."
Furthermore, Haniyeh called on the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank occupied Al-Quds, and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 to confront the Israeli occupation forces on every street in occupied Palestine.
He also urged the Arab and Islamic people all around the world to take to the streets to condemn the brutal massacre, while also calling on human rights organizations and the United Nations to condemn the mass murder committed by the Israeli occupation.
