US Vice President Kamala Harris has angered "Israel's" supporters by expressing her support for a university student who accused "Israel" of committing genocide against the Palestinians.

This happened when Harris made a surprise visit on Tuesday to the political science class at George Mason University in Northern Virginia to encourage voter registration and discuss voting rights.

When Harris took questions after speaking, one of the students expressed her concerns about US financial and military support for "Israel" and Saudi Arabia. "I see that over the summer there have been, like, protests and demonstrations in astronomical numbers standing with Palestine, but then just a few days ago there were funds allocated to continue backing Israel, which hurts my heart because it's ethnic genocide and displacement of people - the same that happened in America - and I'm sure you're aware of this," the student said, as Harris nodded.

The student was hinting here at a bill the US House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed to send $1 billion to "Israel" for the Iron Dome defense system, a measure strongly opposed by a group of left-wing Democratic lawmakers.

The student believed that it would have been better for the United States to spend this funding to help Americans who suffer from lack of healthcare and public healthcare and absence of affordable housing, rather than inflaming "Israel" and supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

She said she felt the need to raise the issue, saying, "It affects my life and the lives of people I really care about."

Harris replied that she was glad the student raised the issue and continued to say, "This is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth, should not be suppressed and it must be heard, right? And one of the things we're fighting for in a democracy, right?"

"Unity should never be at the expense of telling anyone personally that, for the sake of unity, 'Oh, you be quiet about that thing. You suppress that thing. Let's not deal with that thing.' That's not unity. True unity is everyone in that room has a voice," the Vice President continued.

UNBELIEVABLE.

This conversation drew criticism from Republicans and supporters of "Israel", including Senator Ted Cruz's Spokesperson, Steve Guest, who described the interaction in a tweet as "unbelievable".
