Hashtag in support of Martyr Soleimani blocked
After social platforms blocked the hashtag #Hero in reference to the martyr Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian government spokesperson calls on the US to end its illegal terrorist approach.
Iranian Government Spokesperson Ali Bahadri Jahromi confirmed that blocking the hashtag #Hero in reference to martyr Qassem Soleimani from media social platforms is nothing but an extension of the illegal US approach and terrorism.
"This cowardly act by the United States is a flagrant violation of freedom of expression and human rights against the feelings of millions of individuals around the world," Bahadiri Jahromi said in a statement today, on Tuesday, calling on the United States to end its unlawful approach that violates all legal standards.
It is noteworthy that several hashtags topped social media in conjunction with the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Al-Quds Force Commander, Lieutenant-General Qassem Soleimani, and the Deputy Head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, who were martyred along with their comrades in an assassination operation by an American drone near Baghdad International Airport two years ago today, on January 3, 2020.
Yesterday, thousands of people in Tehran and Kerman commemorated the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders, and participants raised slogans calling on the Iranian and Iraqi leaderships to respond to the perpetrators of the assassination of the two leaders, demanding the embodiment of the martyrs' dedication in confronting the enemies of the Resistance Axis.
