Head of Badr Organization in Iraq condemns Turkish military actions
Iraqi leaders, including Hadi al-Amiri and Qais Khazali, condemn Turkish military incursions into Iraq and call for the withdrawal of Turkish forces to safeguard Iraq's sovereignty.
The Secretary-General of the Badr Organization in Iraq, Hadi al-Amiri, condemned the Turkish government's violations of Iraq's territorial integrity and airspace.
In a statement, al-Amiri called on the Iraqi government to take all necessary actions to put an end to Turkish incursions, which pose a direct and nearly daily threat to the lives and property of Iraqis.
Recently, members of the Iraqi parliament urged the government to expedite the removal of Turkish forces from northern Iraq, as their presence is seen as a clear threat to the country's sovereignty.
Earlier, the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, called for the complete withdrawal of Turkish military forces from Iraq, emphasizing that all land should be under the control of Iraqi forces to ensure sovereignty and security.
It is worth noting that Turkey has been conducting a series of military operations in Iraq, including airstrikes and targeted assassinations of prominent leaders of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
