Hezbollah again targets IOF near settlements in more operations
Lebanon’s Hezbollah again responds to continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon, targeting an Israeli outpost near the "Yiftah" settlement.
The Lebanese Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, announced in a statement on Sunday that the Resistance’s fighters attacked the barracks of the "Hanita" settlement, striking two tanks and a troop transport vehicle and resulting in a number of Israeli soldiers being killed and wounded.
The operation came in response to the Israeli aggression on a team of journalists on Friday in southern Lebanon, which led to the martyrdom of Lebanese Reuters reporter Issam Abdallah and the wounding of a number of his colleagues, the statement said, adding that it also comes in response to the Israeli shelling on a civilian home in Shebaa, which resulted in the martyrdom of two elderly Lebanese civilians: Khalil Ali Hashem and Rabab al-Aaqoum.
In another statement Hezbollah released, it said its freedom fighters attacked five Israeli border sites: Jal al-Alam, Birket Risha, Ramiya, al-Manara, and al-Abbad, using appropriate and direct weapons.
Moreover, Hezbollah later revealed in yet another statement that the fighters of the Islamic Resistance targeted the zionist cameras and technical equipment installed on the wall of the "Metulla" settlement overlooking the Lebanese-Palestinian border using appropriate weapons, which resulted in disabling them.
Hezbollah had also earlier announced on Sunday that it successfully targeted a Merkava tank in the Israeli occupation’s al-Raheb outpost using guided anti-tank missiles.
In a statement, the Lebanese Resistance group confirmed that the tank was hit directly, resulting in casualties among the crew.
Also earlier today, an Israeli military outpost located in the settlement of "Shtula" near the Lebanese border was targeted by the Resistance faction with anti-tank missiles.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation military confirmed the killing of one Israeli and the wounding of five others.
