Targeting journalists and civilians has become a standard within the doctrine of the Israeli occupation forces. In a matter of days, "Israel" has murdered at least 9 journalists while covering Israeli aggression on Gaza and crimes against humanity.

Reuters issued a statement expressing their "sadness" regarding the murder of their reporter but completely failed to mention the Israeli assassins or to explain the circumstances of the killing.
The statement read:
We are deeply saddened to learn that our videographer, Issam Abdallah, has been killed.
Issam was part of a Reuters crew in southern Lebanon who was providing a live signal.
We are urgently seeking more information, working with authorities in the region, and supporting Issam's family and colleagues.
Reuters journalists Thaer Al-Sudani and Maher Nazeh also sustained injuries and are seeking medical care.
Our thoughts are with their families at this terrible time.
