Hezbollah bids farewell to martyred leader despite Israeli attack
During the funeral procession of Hezbollah leader Wissam Tawil, the Israeli occupation targeted a car in the vicinity of the funeral processions of the Hezbollah leader, but the people flooded the streets to pay their respects and show that Resistance is a popular choice.
A member of Hezbollah's Central Council, Sheikh Nabil Qaouq, confirmed, in a message to "both friends and enemies," that martyr Wissam Tawil (Hajj Jawad), who was assassinated by the Israeli occupation, yesterday, "trained and graduated thousands of freedom fighters who love martyrdom as well, and [await] the great confrontation with the enemy."
In a speech he delivered during the funeral of the martyr in the town of Khirbet Selem, Sheikh Qaouq stressed that "Hajj Jawad is one of the heroes" who had been involved in the Resistance since its beginnings, and was directly involved in its latest operations ahead of his martyrdom.
He added that the martyr also played a significant role in the Liberation of the year 2000, when the Israeli occupation was forced to withdraw from Beirut and Southern Lebanese to the now-called Blue Line. Moreover, Hajj Jawad was also present during the 2006 war which ended in what was called a Divine Victory.

Sheikh Qaouq stressed that the assassination of the Resistance's leaders will not weaken its ability to confront the occupation.
It is also important to emphasize that ahead of the funeral, as people began gathering for the processions, the Israeli occupation forces targeted a car in Khirbet Selem and drones continued to hover over throughout the town. The attack did not scare the people away, proving once again that for the people of Lebanon, Resistance is popular choice.

Israeli Media: Hezbollah targeting Mount Meron still haunts Israelis
The strike on the Israeli "Meron" intelligence and Airforce base, conducted by the Lebanese Resistance group Hezbollah, continues to haunt "Israel".
The military analyst of Haaretz, Amos Harel, pointed out that what was significant in the operation was the choice of the target itself, namely "Mount Meron".
Harel provided details about what the "Meron" base includes, stressing that the Northern Air Control Unit is stationed there, and radars track every flight in Syrian and Lebanese airspace. These details are identical to those mentioned by the Resistance group in its statement following the operation.
The military analyst, regarding the escalation on the front with Lebanon, said "Israel" is in a situation where it sees that the intense fire that has been ongoing for three months in the north, which led to the evacuation of the settlements there, "is the least bad option," indicating that war or wider confrontation with Hezbollah will have worse repercussions, for not only the Israeli-occupied north but for all of occupied Palestine.
"Meron" base entered the long list of Israeli targets struck by the Resistance in Northern Occupied #Palestine.
