Hezbollah hits Israeli artillery units; northern settlers in disarray
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon announces direct hits on Israeli artillery units, as Israeli commentators express fear of the faction's effective capabilities.
The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced that its fighters targeted Israeli artillery positions in "Dishon" in northern occupied Palestine on Sunday morning.
A statement released by the Resistance faction's Military Media revealed that Hezbollah fighters targeted Israeli artillery positions at 7:30 am (local time), confirming direct hits on the intended targets.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent from South Lebanon revealed that Israeli occupation forces' artillery units are located 2 km away from the Lebanese-Palestinian border. These units have actively targeted Lebanese border towns and villages. Our correspondent also said that the Israeli authorities have told settlers to immediately evacuate the "Liman" settlements.

It is worth noting that "Liman" moshav was established over territories belonging to the Palestinian al-Bassa village after its residents were forcibly displaced by Zionist gangs in 1948.
On the other hand, Israeli occupation forces targeted villages in the Western sector of South Lebanon. Al Mayadeen's correspondent said an area in al-Labbouna in southernmost Lebanon, near a United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) site, was targeted by Israeli airstrikes and artillery shells.
The Islamic Resistance has been carrying out operations against Israeli targets, using a wide array of weapons and strategies. Hezbollah has done so in support of the Palestinian people and their Resistance in the Gaza Strip, after the Israeli occupation launched a brutal aggression on the Strip on October 7. The faction's operations have caused hundreds of casualties among enemy forces and also pushed out thousands of Israeli settlers from their settlements.

Settlers fear Hezbollah
Israeli media outlets said that several streets and roads in al-Jalil region have been entirely closed off in response to the highly sensitive security conditions. It was also reported that an entire region in al-Jalil was shut off after anti-tank guided missiles were launched from Lebanon.
Recently, information shared with Al Mayadeen revealed that Hezbollah has acquired and deployed a guided missile system that holds a range of 8 to 10 kilometers. The system has expanded the Resistance's area of operation in South Lebanon, vastly extending the effective range of its direct attacks on enemy positions.
Alon Avitar, an Israeli expert on Palestinian affairs, said that Hezbollah, deploying minimal effort, can paralyze the Israeli settler community in the entirety of northern occupied Palestine, adding that the Lebanese Resistance faction is capable of much more.
In the same context, the head of the Upper al-Jalil Regional Council, Giora Zeltz, shed light on collectively shared anxiety among settlers of the area, criticizing the Israeli war cabinet's handling of the situation at the northern front.
Highlighting Israeli confusion regarding the threats that Hezbollah poses to Israeli settlements, the Israeli Channel 12 correspondent, Nir Dvori, said that he had asked several sources if Hezbollah possesses tunnels into northern occupied Palestine, however, he received no definitive answer.
"I ask all the time all the sources I meet about this issue, and everyone says they don't know, but that doesn't mean they won't surprise us with something."
